![]() ![]() ![]() Most cruise companies like to create ‘classes’ of ships so that shipyards can more quickly build out vessels with minor-ish tweaks in between releases. What’s really interesting about this is that there were no major rumors circulating that Disney was even interested. Of course, Disney is going to probably kick in another $1 Billion USD to complete the build and ensure it is finished out according to Disney’s high standards. We then received a bit more intel from that Disney got a steal of a deal by acquiring the ship for only 40 Million Euros (~$42M USD). “Our cruise ships give us the unique opportunity to bring Disney magic to fans no matter where they are, and the addition of this ship will make a Disney Cruise Line vacation accessible to more families than ever before” Josh D’Amaro, chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Disney is expected to completely re-imagine the ship, and who better to do that then Disney. On November 15, 2022, Disney made waves by announcing that they had acquired a partially built ship! Disney announced that the new vessel will be based outside the US and be visiting new global destinations. ![]() ![]() ![]() Another part of her diaries reflected her experiences in wartime Berlin and the Allied air raids, especially the bombing of the Berlin Zoo. The wolf is horny, nothing new for us but would have been very surprising to its original audience. I've read about several of the eras of history she covers before, but she managed to provide me with new and very pertinent information about well known fairy tale authors, as well as exposing me to versions of Little Red I wasn't aware of or knew little about before.įor example, Tex Avery's cartoons featuring Little Red, such as Red Hot Riding Hood:įrom 1943, it provides a fascinating contrast to Disney's fairy tale cartoons the world was becoming familiar with. Her points shed light not only on Little Red but the other fairy tales that came from those writers, and Orenstein references many other fairy tales as she compares and contrasts Little Red with other heroines. Her histories provide enough interesting details to support her points while painting an overall picture of the culture impressive when considering the length of the book. Obviously Orenstein explores in depth the history of Little Red Riding Hood, but along the way provides historical backgrounds for some of the tale's most prominent authors-from Perrault to the brothers Grimm from medieval Europe to the first and second waves of feminism in America. ![]() In fact, I would even categorize this in my top recommended fairy tale books. ![]() ![]() Officially, Kell is the Red Traveler, personal ambassador and adopted Prince of Red London, carrying the monthly correspondences between the royals of each London. ![]() ![]() And once upon a time, there was Black London.but no one speaks of that now.
